Quiet Monk Research is the independent research publication of Quiet Monk — Clinical & Preventive Nutrition, founded by Meera Joseph. The publication is editorially independent from its founding institution; that relationship is acknowledged here, not in the masthead.
About the Founder
Meera Joseph is a clinical and sports dietitian with over a decade of institutional experience across India and the Middle East, including hospital nutrition leadership roles in Bengaluru, Muscat, and Alappuzha. Her present inquiry sits at the intersection of nutrition, human performance, and the physiological demands of extreme and unfamiliar environments — beginning with India’s human spaceflight programme. Quiet Monk Research exists because the interesting questions in nutrition rarely stay inside one discipline. This publication is where those questions get asked properly, before they get answered quickly.
Methodology
Every investigation published here runs through the Quiet Monk Inquiry Engine — a twelve-stage research process with a mandatory two-gate source verification step. Full detail is on the Editorial Policy page.
