Source Standards
Every factual claim published here passes through two mandatory verification gates before it reaches print:
Gate A — Does the source actually support the claim being made?
Gate B — Do the title, authors, journal or publisher, year, volume/pages or article number, DOI or PMID, and URL all belong to that exact source?
Passing Gate A does not establish that Gate B is correct. Both gates are mandatory for every citation, in every article, without exception.
Correction Policy
No article on this site is silently amended. When a correction is identified — before or after publication — it is logged on the Corrections page with the article reference, correction date, what changed, and why. The article’s version number and metadata block are updated accordingly. See our versioning convention for how v1.0, v1.1, and v2.0 are distinguished.
